NOVEMBER 2015
WHAT ARE YOU READING NOW????? I'm halfdone reading Robert Goolrick : A Reliable Wife It is SO good!! It's so descriptive and elegantly written that it really transports you back in time. It feels as though I'm really there, in these people's minds, experiencing their thoughts & memories...their weaknesses and wants. Beautifully written.

(11 Monate, 9 Tage her) | The fourth wing by Rebecca Yarros totally draws you in with its intense mix of love, heartbreak, and redemption, and the characters feel so real, like you're right there with them, which is why I just love it. - Linda P. Martin | (1 ein Jahr her) | Gabrielle Bell's "When I'm Old And Other Stories" is a good collection of comics due to the author's ability to infuse her stories with a blend of humor, vulnerability, and insight that is both relatable and emotionally resonant. - bobby | (2 Jahre zuvor) | For me, Gabrielle Bell's "When I'm Old And Other Stories" captivated me with its poignant illustrations and deeply relatable tales, making it a compelling and thought-provoking read that resonated with me long after I turned the last page. - Butiffely | (2 Jahre zuvor) | I've been reading Tik Tok by Dean Koontz. I've been loving it! It's just the right amount of scary for me. I've been passing it around my friends in Castle hill but once I'm finished I'm probably going to post it on here.

- dictociafdocyangezbawuj1 | (5 Jahre zuvor) | I usually love books from the 1800's, so I don't think that the age of the book has much to do with why I didn't like it much. I just didn't think it was all it's cracked up to be, I guess.
- Daisy | (5 Jahre zuvor) | It took me about 2 months to read "Dracula. It was good at first. Action about whats-his-face going to the Counts house and all that. But after that, it got really slow. And soap opera-ish. I know this was written in the late 1800's, but no one ever talked the way they talk in that book.
- Quaker Maid | (5 Jahre zuvor) | I tried reading Dracula once, but after maybe five chapters I gave up. Too slow-moving and dark for me. I like the movie adaptations better it seems; words I'd never thought I'd say, haha.
I'm currently reading Linda Thompson : The Plum Blooms in Winter: Inspired by a Gripping True Story from World War II's Daring Doolittle Raid (Brands from the Burning) and I am enjoying it immensely. Great clean WWII historical fiction; I highly recommend it.
- Daisy | (5 Jahre zuvor) | I got the new "Ladies' #1 Detective Agency" audiobook for Solstice. I've read every book in the series, in order.
I will be donating the book to the library after I've listened to it a few times.
Right now I'm reading "Dracula". It's a tough read and it's taking me a long time.

DECEMBER 2015
Better late than never.... What are you reading now??? Well, I was reading James Patterson : Miracle on the 17th Green: A Novel BUT, I had to quit it halfway through....I am just not into golf. Since I'm a Huge James Patterson fan, I thought he would make it interesting. I was wrong. I found it to be SO boring. I kept hoping it'd get better, but it didn't. So, NOW, I'm reading Koethi Zan : The Never List: A Novel It's MUCH better!! A different book altogether....a thriller. About 2 girls at a party who think they got into a cab, when they really got into a strangers car......something they're NEVER supposed to do, and end up being prisoners in his basement/dungeon. EWWWWWWW.

I am reading River of Doubt by Candice Millard. http://bookmooch.com/m/s/the+river+of+doubt+theodore+roosevelt+darkest+journey It's an account of Teddy Roosevelt's difficult journey along an unmapped rainforest river with his son Kermit, many laboring South Americans known as camaradas, and famous Brazilian explorer Candido Mariano da Silva Rondon. It's fascinating to read what this elder statesman did to challenge himself after losing his last bid for the White House to Wilson. You will definitely enjoy this armchair travel from the comfort of home without insects and waterfall rapids!

(8 Jahre zuvor) | I agree, the first few are pretty good urban/paranormal fantasy with some romance. The latter books devolve into relationship angst and explicit sex with a little bit of crime fighting on the side.

WHAT ARE YOU READING NOW????? I'm still reading William Martin : Back Bay It's good, I like how the chapters alternate from Past to Present. I'm not as many pages into it as I'd like to be...my real-life keeps getting in the way. But so far, I have no complaints.

(9 Jahre zuvor) | Wally Lamb : Wishin' and Hopin': A Novel Was a really cute book, and a few parts made me laugh out loud....About a boy who's related to Annette Funicello, and goes to a Catholic school, a Russian exchange student with a thick accent that's wicked funny, and a big Christmas play that's a riot.
Then I read a Dave Barry book, Dave Barry : The Shepherd, the Angel, and Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog That was really cute too, and only took 2 days to read.
Now, I'm reading Graeme Cameron : Normal It's a Hardcover Edition, not the paperback copy listed here. It's fiction, about a serial killer and told from his point-of-view.
- Michelle | (9 Jahre zuvor) | I'll start reading Wally Lamb : Wishin' and Hopin': A Novel either tomorrow or Monday.
YES, I finally finished reading Stephen King : Revival and I thought it was wicked good. Didn't get a little strange till right towards the end, but...it was a Wild ride.
Overall, I'd give it an "A". I have to let someone borrow it, and then I'll be adding it to my Inventory.
- Michelle | (9 Jahre zuvor) | I'm still reading Clive Cussler : The Sea Hunters: True Adventures with Famous Shipwrecks and I'm also reading Will Henry : Custer, which is actually really, really good. It has become my favorite Will Henry novel yet, and I have read several. I'm reading it for my Spring Reading Challenge, which you can find in the forums section if you are interested. :-)
