At the moment, we are not experiencing a problem getting books out promptly. Heavy international mooches will have to go surface mail, but most inland or European books are arriving within 2-3 days. Bio:
I'm a great believer in recycling and sharing the joy of a good read. I also think that books are a basic human right and the way mankind progresses and grows in knowledge and compassion. Hubby especially gets through books at an alarming rate, which are mostly ex library, charity shop purchases or book mooched via this site and we need to do something to move these books on or we're in danger of sinking here. We do have 2 cats but they prefer trashy romance novels so most books listed are untouched by feline paw. The dog is illiterate. From time to time I may not have the finances to send books internationally but I will always try if I can. All books will be sent by the cheapest way possible so international books usually go surface mail and may take some time arriving. I'm lucky in that I have a post office less than a minute's walk from my front door so books are usually despatched the same or next day.
